GENERAL DUTIES:

Assist with inventory tracking, preparation and serving of food items. Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
• Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
• Experience in the use and maintenance of industrial kitchen equipment
• Knowledge of ingredients, supplies and methods used in cooking
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety regulations for chemical use in the kitchen
• Provides support to the meal program at all HSD kitchens as needed.
• Requires frequent in-district travel. 
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Current Oregon Food Handlers Certification is required for this position.
• This position is a roving position, Food service experience required
• K12 foodservice experience preferred
• Based at South Meadows but may be asked to support other schools
