Regular Education Assistant 2 - Teen Mom (7 hrs.) / Century High School / Start Date: ASAP

Position Summary:

Perform a variety of instructional/tutorial duties assisting a licensed teacher in the implementation of an instructional program for teen moms and their babies. Coordinate day-care services in the program.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent and an Associate of Arts Degree; or thirty quarter-hours of early childhood education
• Participate yearly in at least fifteen clock-hours of training or education related to childcare
• Experience in preschool programs
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Skill in the use of office machines as required, including computer input
• Reasonable knowledge of the basic elements of the teaching process
• Possess a current Food Handlers license
• Have current certification in First Aid and CPR
• Ability to effectively work and communicate with students, parents, and school personnel from diverse cultures or backgrounds in English, Spanish, or other languages related to the job
• The ability to work harmoniously with others
