Hiring Administrator: Nathan Roedel

GENERAL DUTIES:

Assist with inventory tracking, preparation and serving of food items. Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or its equivalent
Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
Experience in the use and maintenance of industrial kitchen equipment
Knowledge of ingredients, supplies and methods used in cooking
Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety regulations for chemical use in the kitchen
Provides support to the meal program at all HSD kitchens as needed.
Requires frequent in-district travel.
Reliable transportation is required.
Current Oregon Food Handlers Certification is required for this position.
This position is a roving position, Food service experience required
K12 foodservice experience preferred
Based at South Meadows but may be asked to support other schools
