Previous dispatcher experience preferred.
Must be highly skilled in Google Drive suite, specifically Google sheets.
Must be detailed in systems and organizational skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish Required (bilingual is defined as fluency in reading, writing and speaking in two languages as determined by District screening tool)
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply established protocols for the coverage of transportation routes by assigning drivers and assistants
Coordinate the assignment of District vehicles to drivers
Coordinate the assignment of trips and report unfilled trips to appropriate personnel
Organize the distribution of materials and equipment related to transportation routes and trips
Assist drivers in identifying alternatives to avoid temporary problems encountered while on a route
Perform the duties of a bus driver, as needed
Pass quarterly random drug tests
